(c) 1999 Sean Madden/LoTioN Industries

Sean Madden has been drawing and painting since his early childhood.  As a youngster, his most influential heros were surrealist painters like Dali, Bosch and Ernst Fuchs.   These influences in his work had caused his elementry teachers to have much concern about his psychological well being.  This concern grew to the point of having Sean professionally "evaluated" by his school psychologist.  Now Sean specializes in highly detailed pen and ink drawings and detailed acrylic paintings.  True to the surrealist tradition, Sean is more interested in the symbolic and archetypal significance of his work than whether or not it matches your drapes or carpet.

With an established career, Sean is now free to pursue his artistic visions without worry.  He can draw and paint whatever he wants to without being sent home from school with a note from his teacher.
